Our Aims & Objectives

What we are here to do and how we hold ourselves to it.

Petrichor Healthcare Provisions exists to provide safe, consistent, person centred care for adults who need supported living or domiciliary support. These are the commitments that shape how we work every day.

Safe and effective care

We aim to deliver care that protects people from harm, supports their wellbeing, and responds appropriately when needs change.

Respect and dignity

Every person we support is treated as an individual. Their choices, privacy, and right to live as independently as possible are central to everything we do.

Transparent accountability

We maintain clear records, report honestly to commissioners and families, and welcome scrutiny because we believe quality care has nothing to hide.

Our commitments

What we are here to do and how we hold ourselves to it.

Petrichor exists to provide safe, consistent, person centred care for everyone we support. These aims and objectives shape every decision we make.

Our Aims

  • To provide safe, effective, and person centred care for every adult and young person we support.
  • To maintain CQC registration and meet or exceed the standards set by the Care Quality Commission across all regulated activities.
  • To progress our Ofsted registration (URN: 2890073) and deliver high quality supported accommodation for 16 and 17 year olds.
  • To communicate openly and proactively with commissioners, local authorities, families, and individuals.
  • To provide well maintained, safe, and comfortable accommodation that people are genuinely proud to live in.
  • To recruit, train, and retain care staff who are competent, compassionate, and properly supported.
  • To respond to referrals promptly, make honest decisions, and never over-promise our capacity or capability.

Our Objectives

  • Acknowledge all referrals within 24 hours and provide an initial placement decision within 48 hours of receiving complete referral information.
  • Complete a minimum of one care plan review every three months for each person we support, and immediately following any significant change in need.
  • Ensure all frontline staff complete mandatory training before working unsupervised, including safeguarding, first aid, medication management, and manual handling.
  • Conduct regular property inspections across all accommodation to maintain safety and comfort standards.
  • Maintain clear records of all incidents and concerns and report to CQC and local authorities in line with legal obligations.
  • Provide monthly updates to commissioning professionals on the progress and wellbeing of individuals in our care.

How we measure ourselves

Quality is not a claim. It is something we demonstrate.

Regular review

We review our aims and objectives quarterly with our registered manager and senior leadership team.

Commissioner feedback

We use feedback from commissioners, families, and the people we support to identify where we are doing well and where we need to improve.

CQC accountability

We welcome CQC inspection and local authority monitoring visits as opportunities to demonstrate our standards and identify areas for development.
